Production of EBC's Year 2012 White Paper - Request for Sponsorship & Advance Orders

Dear EBC Committee Members and Friends of the EBC,

This year, we plan to resume production of the EBC White Paper, our hallmark annual report on the business and investment environment, in English and Japanese for release in mid November. This will be the 12th in the series. With a good chance that negotiations for an EU-Japan FTA will start in the near future, the White Paper will serve as an additional reference to our 2011 digital compendium of FTA recommendations, which we will continue to augment, update and submit to the European Commission. 

GNSS seminar in Brussels

An EU-Asia Satellite Navigation Industry Seminar, chaired by the European Commission - Directorate-General Enterprise and Industry, will be held in Brussels on 26 September, 2012. This event will focus on opportunities for industrial cooperation in the field of satellite navigation, between the EU and China, India, Japan, Republic of Korea and Taiwan.

Attendees will be entrepreneurs and representatives from the European satellite navigation downstream industry and representatives from EU Chambers of Commerce in these five Asian economies. The Asian representatives will present up-to-date information on GNSS industrial opportunities in their economies and will actively interact with participants.
