Vacancy at Dutch Consulate General in Osaka: senior trade officer

The Dutch Consulate General in Osaka is looking for an experienced senior trade officer to support Dutch business activities in the region and identify promising economic opportunities. The Consulate promotes Dutch economic interests in West Japan (mainly the Kansai); i.e. trade and investment.

We offer attractive modern working conditions, competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work in a small team with ample room for initiative, responsibility and personal development.

In exchange we ask for 5 years of relevant work experience, commitment to results, ‘can do/hands on’ mentality and flexibility. Fluent English and Japanese are required; knowledge of Dutch is an asset.

The successful candidate will have to be based in or near Osaka and should be available early August 2019. In the case of non-Japanese nationals, the employer will facilitate obtaining the necessary permissions to work in Japan. Starting salary ranges from JPY 600.000 to JPY 700.000 (gross) per month.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is an equal opportunities employer. Female candidates are explicitly invited to apply.
