Join us for an excursion to the Sadogatake Stable in Matsudo to watch Sumo morning training and try Chanko brunch. This will be then followed by a visit to Mabuchi Motor, a world leading micro-motor company. Learn about this unique company and micro-motors today at their HQ and museum (will not see actual production).  This "Big" art and "Small" technology showing will provide NCCJ members and friends an extraordinary experience.  Family members, friends and guests are all welcome.

Also come and listen to the Dutch writer, Hans Brinckman who will talk to us about his most recent book Showa Japan: The Post-War Golden Age and its Troubled Legacy (Tuttle Publishing October 2008).

The NCCJ organised an event  entitled "Giving Back to Japan" the purpose of which was to help support the many NGOs and commercial organisations that are contributing to the relief and reconstruction of Tohoku and Japan following the earthquakes and tsunamis.
