Deshima Business Awards 2012 Ceremony & Reception

When:
Thu 11 October 2012 16:00 - 19:30
Where:
TEPIA

Established in 2000, the 2012 Deshima Business Awards will be granted by the NCCJ with support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in recognition of Dutch companies demonstrating impressive achievements in successful business development in the Japanese market.

We are most honoured that H.E. Mr. Jan Kees de Jager, Minister of Finance of the Netherlands, will present the awards to the winning companies on this day.

Two awards will be granted; one within the large company segment and one within the small/mid-size enterprise segment. The Deshima Business Awards aim to recognise those companies that are leading the way in Japan, but also to provide a forum for companies to develop their relations in this market. In 2006, NCCJ joined with DUJAT in awarding this prestigious prize. The Deshima Business Awards are now presented in alternate years in the Netherlands and in Japan, respectively by DUJAT and NCCJ.

The NCCJ is honored to have Mr. Fukukawa, Chairman of TEPIA and Former Vice Minister of International Trade and Industry, Mr. Nagashima, Director-General, Invest Japan Department of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and Mr. Kortekaas of Euroact Japan Ltd as members of this year’s selection jury along with the NCCJ Chairman, Mr. van der Tang.

The awards ceremony will be followed by a reception.
