Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is coming to Japan

Delft University of Technology organizes their yearly summer program called Flight Case for master students Industrial Design. In July 2019, the TU Delft will be visiting Japan for 3,5 weeks.

During this program, 28 top selected Design students and 2 professors will explore the Japanese culture, business landscape and heritage. To deep dive into the Japanese business, design and innovation landscape, the program collaborates with both national and international companies in Japan. Currently, the TU Delft is looking for companies to collaborate with and we might be looking for your company to collaborate with.

So what does collaborating with Flight Case look like? When collaborating Flight Case will work on one or multiple challenges that help enrich your company’s current innovation and business development. The team will work on the challenge for a number of case days, ranging from 1 to 4, consisting of 500 work hours per case day. In the end, Flight Case delivers your company new ideas and concepts for services or products that are innovative, profitable and future-proof.

In addition, Flight Case will apply and showcase their famous Delft Design way of working – an unique process towards a project with successful methods such as user interviews, trend research and context mapping. At the end the deliverables – including research and ideas – will be handed over to your company. With a successful collaboration the university would like to continue a long-term relationship with your company, by developing PHD research, graduation projects and internships at your company for leading professors, PDH candidates and students.

If your company has a challenge where Flight Case can add value and new perspective? And/or have tips and ideas on people and/or companies interesting for Flight Case to connect with? Don’t hesitate to reach out to Verena Vredeveld (Flightcase- SVID@tudelft.nl) To make Flight Case a success, the deadline for collaborating is 10th of April 2019.
