The NCCJ is pleased to announce our Guest Speaker: Mr. Roel de Vries, Corporate Vice President, Global Head of Marketing and Brand Strategy, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.

Event Overview
The automotive industry is one of the largest sectors in the world economy and their brands are amongst the strongest people connect to. Japanese companies have been able to become an incredibly strong force within this industry by excelling in developing strong, reliable and technologically advanced cars. Nissan, Honda, Toyota have all become family names and are very profitable, truly global players, which makes the Japanese automotive story a very interesting one. Over the last 5 years Nissan has started on a journey to further strengthen its brand globally and to create a strong global marketing organization, something that many corporations struggle with. This event will provide a personal insight into the path Nissan is on and how one can build truly global, top class marketing capabilities and brand building, utilizing the best from all cultures.

Our Speaker
Roel de Vries is a Dutch National who graduated from Groningen University in the Netherlands and has been working with Nissan in various places in the world. He is currently a corporate officer at Nissan’s head-office in Japan and is in charge of all marketing and brand strategy worldwide.
