Globally, Odgers Berndtson dates from 1965 and currently the group has over 200 partners supported by more than 300 consultants and researchers in 29 countries worldwide. The Japan office was established in 1991.
Johan Uittenbogaard is the Managing Partner of Odgers Berndtson in Tokyo. He has an extensive track-record recruiting executives in key leadership roles for the local Japan operations of mainly US and European clients. He has worked in the Executive Search Industry in Japan since 2001. His career began in Japan with a Dutch consumer company subsequently worked for a Toyota Group global trading firm developing new markets in Europe and the Middle East. Johan graduated with an MA from Leiden University in Japanese Language and Culture and has been living in Japan since the mid 90’s.
