Event Report: NCCJ's Welcome Back Aperitif and Table Football Tournament, Sept. 25, 2014
The Chamber held our annual Welcome Back Party at the Amusement bar in Shibuya on Sept. 25, to welcome our members back from summer holidays and get us ready for autumn, as well as to network and catch up with old friends. The party, held in collaboration with NKK, the Dutch circle in the Kanto region, was livened up by what is becoming another exciting annual event, the much-anticipated Table Football Tourney.
Like last year, the Second Annual Table Football Tournament was a huge success, with a total of 24 players taking part on 12 teams. Excitement built toward the climax of the event, the final matchup between the two powerhouse teams — Daniel Leussink/Arend de Haan and Antoine Bordewin/Robbie Servais. In the end, Antoine and Robbie took first place, and Daniel and Arend second. Third pace went to Matthijs Lugten and Niels Hoeben, and fourth to Koichiro Yoshida and Mitsuki Matsuda.
